PK Amoabeng Leadership

Scholar Program

Program Background

The PK Amoabeng Scholars Programme is the flagship initiative of the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation. It is a one-year intensive leadership development programme focused on revolutionizing the mindset for the African leader. The programme is designed to add value to the young leader's mind, producing industry leaders imbued with a strong sense of patriotism, innovation, creative thinking, and knowledge in their respective fields of endeavour.

Selection Criteria:

  • Ghanaian nationality

  • Age 18–40 years

  • Demonstrable leadership potential, commitment to service, and moral force of character

  • Prior leadership experience preferred (student organizations, volunteering, work experience)

Military Leadership Camp

The Military Leadership Camp is a foundational pillar of the PK Amoabeng Scholars Programme. This intensive training module is designed to build discipline, resilience, and clarity under pressure qualities the Foundation believes are essential for transformative leadership.

The Rationale

The camp is designed to strip leadership back to its essentials. In the words of one scholar, the jungle experience revealed that:

  • Timing is a matter of discipline, not convenience

  • Resilience is developed, not desired

  • Credibility is earned, not assumed

  • The true test of leadership is the ability to remain calm when everything around you provokes pani

As Founder Capt. Prince Kofi Amoabeng (Rtd) emphasizes: "Leadership is not a title but a lifestyle anchored in values. Integrity, respect for systems, courage, selflessness—these are the principles that once defined Ghana's excellence."
