AKORFA AHIAFOR (DR. MRS. FCIB) has a diverse background in research, banking and microfinance, entrepreneurship, training and capacity development, farming, and Agribusiness.
She is a Chartered Banker, an entrepreneur, and an entrepreneurial skills development expert, MSME climate finance consultant, and researcher. She is a promoter of digital financial literacy, climate-smart enterprise development, and sustainable banking and gender finance.
She is an alumna of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana Stock Exchange, University of Ghana Business School, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Harvard Kennedy School, and Walden University (USA).
An International Labour Organization (ILO) Certified Trainer in the Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) program, Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) Expert Trainer, and an Examiner of the Chartered Institute of Bankers where I also serve as a Council Member.
She is a Christian, married to Rev. Godwin Delali Ahiafor of the Ghana Baptist Convention and has two daughters; Sena Ahiafor and Eyram Ahiafor.
