PK SHS Outreaches & Clubs
Program Background
The PK SHS Outreaches and Clubs initiative extends the Foundation's discipline and values-based training to Senior High School students across Ghana. The programme is designed to catch young people early and inculcate quality leadership values before they enter tertiary education or the workforce.
Through school outreaches, the Foundation delivers interactive sessions on leadership, discipline, integrity, and the importance of character formation. These sessions are facilitated by trained faculty, mentors, and occasionally the Founder himself, ensuring that students receive the same practical, values-driven formation that defines the Scholars Programme.
The initiative also includes the establishment of PK Clubs in Senior High Schools across the country. These clubs serve as satellite chapters of the Foundation, creating a pipeline of young leaders who are introduced to the Foundation's philosophy and values early. Club members participate in leadership workshops, community service projects, and mentorship activities, all designed to prepare them for future leadership roles.
The long-term vision of the SHS Outreaches and Clubs is to create a nationwide network of young leaders who are disciplined, value-driven, and committed to serving their communities. By investing in secondary school students, the Foundation is building a pipeline for the Scholars Programme and ensuring that the next generation of African leaders is equipped with the right mindset and values from an early age.
As Her Ladyship Justice Sophia Akuffo, former Chief Justice, affirmed at a Foundation event, "leadership must be built intentionally" and "character is still the strongest currency any leader has."
